There are two different manufacturing methods used for making acrylic rod and acrylic tube.

The first is by casting the acrylic into the required rod or tube diameter - this is called CAST ACRYLIC and offers the best finish available.

The second method of manufacture is by extruding the acrylic into the required rod or tube diameter - this is called EXTRUDED ACRYLIC and offers an economical alternative to cast acrylic where aesthetic finish is less crucial.
